Born in the Bronx to immigrant parents, I’ve done all the standard doctor things: undergrad, research, medical school, residency, fellowship, board certifications....

I’ve also climbed mountains, bound wounds and broken bread on five continents, survived things meant to kill me, and whispered my secrets to the distant stars.

For 25+ years, I took the best possible care of thousands of patients in the clinic, hospital, operating room, intensive care, nursing home, and more. I published papers, presented at conferences, spoke up in hospital committees, and made sure my patients didn’t face uncertainty alone.

I’ve also sat for months at my Love’s bedside in hospitals and ICUs, helpless in all my expertise, not knowing what the next day would bring.

We’ve been lucky - we survived.

Survivorship is a precious gift, and also a learned skill.

And I have made a science of honing that skill.

With everything I’ve learned, I’ve refined critical care recovery to a fast-track anti-fragile approach, which I now use to help my clients reclaim their lives in record time.
